Casandra Diamond

Casandra Diamond is the founding director of BridgeNorth Women’s Mentorship & Advocacy Services; a survivor led charitable organization that seeks to restore the inherent dignity and value of those who have experienced sexual exploitation through prevention strategies, exit strategies, safety planning, and advocacy. Casandra worked with the Justice and Human Rights and the Senate Committees studying our current law known as the Protection of Communities and Exploited Persons Act. She has spoken at numerous events and is the recipient of the 2017 Ministry of Attorney General’s Victim Services Award of Distinction.

Markie Dell

As a survivor of Human Trafficking, Miss Dell has worked very hard to get her life back. She now speaks and grants media interviews to bring awareness around the realities of this horrendous crime. Miss Dell volunteers with Rising Angels; she has also received a certificate in sexual violence and has become a registered yoga instructor. Come hear her share about the trauma that made her vulnerable to traffickers and the hell she has had to go through to regain a degree of normal in her life.

Liz McDonald-Klavet

Ms. Klavet shares her story of life as the mother of a daughter that was Human Trafficked. Liz will explain how this crime doesn’t just affect the victim but also the family; how Human Trafficking and prostitution affects everyone involved with the victim. Listen as Ms. Klavet reveals her journey of heartbreak as she has walked with her daughter and her siblings.

Katarina MacLeod

Katarina MacLeod is a survivor of exploitation, sexual & physical abuse, drug addiction, kidnapping, and domestic prostitution and trafficking. In 2008, she finally escaped ‘the game’ and now works to raise awareness regarding the truth behind this industry, as well as walk alongside women who, like her, want to start over and realize they cannot do it on their own. Katarina has obtained a diploma in Addictions and Community Service, a certificate in Sexual Violence, and a Level 1 certificate in Trauma Counselling for Front Line Workers. She is a mother to 4 children and living proof of a life restored.
